This episode was pretty amazing! Ryan hooked an old cassette boom box up to the switch board and DJed live to air - tape hiss and all. Ryan runs a cassette label and releases primarily Vancouver bands like Bummer High, High Drops, Mac Demarco, Heavy Chains, Koko, etc.. and is working on a series of bootleg cassettes of rare old records that he is making the artwork for, pressing in runs of 10 for and selling for $2. Weird kid! Bleached called into the show which was super fun but unexpected! In the interview you can hear Ryan eating cookies and Bleached eating pretzels in their van en route to Chicago. They requested we play ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’ by Metallica which went quite well with Ryan’s pick of Alice Cooper ” I’m 18”. Rock and Roll with cookies and pretzels! And it was Valentine’s day so Ryan and I gave Valentines shout out to our mums! EPISODE HERE

Todays episode of Sup World was really fun and kind of strange - Happy New Year! We got carried away with a voice warping machine and things got a little wild on the mixing board. Daniel and Seth played songs from Grass Widow, Bikini Kill, Fuzzbox, Wax Idols, Peach Kelli Pop, Riff Randells - lots of lady tracks from the boys! Daniel received a caller who asked if he was in Bikini Kill, Seth tried to get rumors out of Daniel and before we knew it the hour was over and we didn’t wanna stop. Daniel Plays Drums in Vancouver’s Nu Sensae and Seth is front man Hunx of Hunx-and sometimes his Punks from San Francisco/LA. EPISODE HERE
