Richard from ROSE QUARTZ BLOG came in to not only guest dj, but to educate us on the world of INTERNET MUSIC. We also had the first clip from my interview with Youth Lagoon and Benny from COLOR MAGAZINE was there to document the whole thing.

Richard has experience in radio so the show went uncharacteristically smoothly, he shared a wonderful array of tracks from his native New Zealand and some surprise Canadian bands that he has bumped into during his first month here. It was also nice to make some new friends from south of the border this week. On today’s podcast you will hear a nice little tidbit of my interview with Trevor Powers of Youth Lagoon. In this clip he talks about his obsession with the idea of posters and their significance in his writing process. The whole interview will air the show after next and I truly can’t wait for you all to hear it and see the photos my lovely cousin took with his new Mamiya.

Also a very very important announcement that next week is our dear Melanie’s last show.
